Valentine's Day FHE Activity

Valentine's Day FHE Activity

Wanting to tie Valentine's Day into your Family Home Evening lesson? What a perfect opportunity to focus on God's love!

Lesson Plan:

Read John 3:16 as a family and discuss what the scripture means.

For kids (2-12 years old): Print the heart and Jesus worksheet (Page 1 of the attachment below). Help the child (depending on age) draw a picture or write their answers to the prompts about things, people, food, etc. they love.

For teens and adults: Print the "Revelation Road Map" (page 2 of the attachment below). Look up the specified scriptures and answer the inspired questions on the designated lines.

In conclusion, come together as a family and discuss some of your answers or what you learned. Talk about ways we feel God's love in our lives. Share personal experiences and testimonies of moments when you've felt particularly loved and supported by Him.

Optional Activity: Create "love notes" for each other. Provide paper and pens, and encourage everyone to write kind notes expressing love and appreciation for each family member. Exchange the notes and read them aloud.

This Valentine's Day, remind your family of God's infinite love and inspire them to share that love with everyone around them!
