In Doctrine and Covenants 27-28, the Lord teaches about the sacrament and how it should be administered. He says that we should use bread and wine (we use water now) to remember His body and blood. The sacrament is an opportunity to renew our covenants and promises made at baptism and also receive strength and blessings Heavenly Father promises in return, using proper priesthood authority. This was important because this is the same way Christ taught the people to administer the sacrament when he was on the earth. A true restoration with the same order and power!
Use this free printable activity to teach children the symbols of the sacrament. Perfect for Primary or FHE!
