Genesis 5 and Moses 6 teach that God calls leaders even when they feel weak or inadequate. Enoch felt unsure and believed he was not good with words, but the Lord promised to help him, saying, “Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance” (Moses 6:34). Through God’s help, Enoch became a powerful leader and prophet, reminding us that God can strengthen our weaknesses so we can serve Him and preach his word too.
