This week’s Come Follow Me Old Testament supplemental activity is designed especially for Primary-aged children and families looking for meaningful ways to study the scriptures at home. If you’re new here, I create weekly Come Follow Me printables for Primary kiddos that complement the Church’s manual while offering a different learning approach—perfect for Family Home Evening, at-home gospel learning, or quiet activities that aren’t already done in Primary.
While the activities in the official manual are wonderful, my goal is to help children learn additional gospel principlesfrom the same scriptures so they can gain a deeper, more personal understanding each week. These activities focus on simple doctrine, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate reflection.
For Genesis 1–2; Moses 2–3; Abraham 4–5, this free printable activity emphasizes that we are Heavenly Father’s greatest creation. Children learn that they are created in God’s image, that every child is unique, and that each person has individual gifts, talents, and a divine purpose in Heavenly Father’s plan.
Print this activity below. Have the child or class think about about what makes them special. These could be talents, interests, hobbies, anything! Have them color some of the qualities they feel you are extra blessed with. Use the empty circles provided to write or draw their own special qualities.
