How to Have a Christ-Centered Easter with Kids

How to Have a Christ-Centered Easter with Kids

Easter is a joyful time to celebrate the Savior’s Resurrection and help children feel the hope and peace that comes through Jesus Christ. As families in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we can create simple yet meaningful traditions that point our kids to Him—while still keeping the fun of the season alive.

From reading scriptures about the Resurrection to making empty tomb crafts or baking symbolic treats together, there are so many ways to weave testimony into your Easter celebration. Even familiar items like eggs, chicks, and lambs can be used to teach powerful truths about new life, rebirth, and the Lamb of God.

When we center our family traditions on Christ, even the smallest activities can become sacred teaching moments.

To help you do just that, I’ve created a few free Easter printables you can download below—

Nature Tomb Scene

Incorporate a spring nature walk into your Easter Family Home Evening, then make a cute Easter tomb scene! Just download, print, use scissors to punch holes where designated, and insert real flowers, grass, leaves, etc. Watch an Instagram reel tutorial here.
